I was not too impressed with the sushi at La Cigale. While the presentation was fantastic and the sushi good, the prices were just too high. It is unique in Qatar since you sit at the sushi bar and order the sushi directly from the chef, but this is very common in other parts of the world and standard in Japan, and thus not exciting.
There were some unique creations though. I appreciated all the fresh salmon.
This salmon-mango roll was quite good, actually.
This chocolate train set in the candy section was just too adorable! Each piece was about 50 QR!
