Started the morning off with Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building!
There was also a Sanrio store which had some Batsu Maru items!
We had a simple lunch of tomato soup and salad at Hediard, a French cafe, in Dubai Mall.
Burj Khalifa (برج خليفة) known as Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is currently the tallest structure ever built, at 828 m (2,717 ft). Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. The building officially opened on 4 January 2010, and is part of the new 2 km2 (490-acre) flagship development called Downtown Dubai at the 'First Interchange' along Sheikh Zayed Road, near Dubai's main business district.
The aquarium inside Dubai mall was really cool.
There were gold shops and a waterfall...
The directory was interactive with a touch screen. Really cool!
I really liked this German store, called NewYorker. It was kind of like H&M and had a lot of cute clothes as well as the little footsie socks! And of course I also stopped in Forever21, which isn't in Doha. If only they had J.Crew and Uniqlo!!! I think they would be really popular.
