Dubai: Atlantis at the Palm

Atlantis, the Palm is a resort at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The resort is modelled after the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in Nassau, Bahamas. The six star resort also includes a water Aquaventure theme park (160,000 square meters), a conference center, and 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) of retail space. The resort also has a Dolphin Bay (45,000 square meters) in which guests can swim and interact with dolphins at Atlantis.

The Palm Jumeirah are artificial archipelago created using land reclamation by Nakheel, a company owned by the Dubai government in United Arab Emirates. It is one of three islands called the Palm Islands which extend into the Persian Gulf, increasing Dubai’s shoreline by a total of 520 kilometres (320 mi). The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and the original of three Palm Islands (Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira) under development by Nakheel.

Atlantis has the famous Japanese restaurant, Nobu, which is co-owned by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and others. I really wanted to go here but people did not want Japanese food and it is really expensive....

World-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa continues to redefine Japanese cuisine in a contemporary space that mixes traditional and modern Japanese elements. At Atlantis, Nobu infuses his cutting edge style with Arabian influences to create a distinctly urban experience. Incorporating Nobu’s signature dishes as well as new surprises, the menu is complemented by a sushi bar and sake lounge.

Nobu Atlantis blazes a new trail for the acclaimed chef, infusing his cutting-edge Japanese style with Arabian influences to create a distinctly urban experience.
